# Co-branding

North brand guidelines for AI agents · https://identity.north.ae/AGENTS/co-branding · Updated 2026-10-14
Use when: Placing North or sub-brand logos together with partner, customer, government or sponsor logos: lockups, logo walls, sponsor tiers, approvals.
Rules that always apply: https://identity.north.ae/AGENTS

## Rules
- Size logos by optical area, not height: height = √(target area ÷ aspect ratio); clamp to 60–160% of the average; then adjust heavy/colourful logos down a step by eye.
- Lockup: North (or sub-brand) | 1px vertical rule (text colour, 30–50% opacity) | partner; equal gaps = 1× our N height; both vertically centred. Only connector words allowed: "in partnership with", "powered by" (Text Medium, caption colour).
- Order: North first unless the partner hosts; government entity leads per its protocol (its emblem may lead); "Powered by NorthStar" badge smaller when our product sits inside a partner offering; sponsors by tier then alphabetical. Arabic-first: mirror order.
- Colour: same treatment for both. If North is Midnight, partner uses its official one-colour version if allowed; otherwise both full colour on white. On dark: partner's official reversed logo, or full-colour logo on a white tile (radius 12, generous padding). Never recolour partner logos into our palette.
- Shapes: landscape wordmarks get shorter; square icons/app tiles and stacked/portrait logos taller; emblems follow protocol.
- Logo walls: equal cells, logo optically sized in each with ~24% padding; one colour mode per wall; sponsor tiers via larger cells, not larger logos. Written approval and official files for every customer/partner logo.
- Technology providers we integrate with are not partners: use /AGENTS/technology-logos.
- Demo files (fictional brands, for illustration only): `/assets/partner-logos/<slug>[-mono|-snow].svg` (prismatica, vela, orchard, tallon, dds, kairo, atlas).
